I writ to you at Paris a few weeks ago, and intended by it to take my leave of you before your departure for America. But I cannot make myself easy without using the opportunity given me by Mr. Williams’s return to you to repeat my wishes that you may be blest with a Safe and prosperous voyage and a happy remainder of life. You will probably receive a visit from the Bishop of St. Asaph at Cowes. I wish I could partake with him in the pleasure he will receive. The inclosed letter is an answer to a letter which I received this week from Dr. Rush at Philadelphia. May I request the favour of you to get it convey’d to him? I am ever most affectionately yours
