I beg my dear Billy you will without fail send me by return of Post a Commission of Letter of Marque for the ship Nancy burthen 100 Tons—armed with 14 Carriage Guns navigated 30 men Commanded by William Burlingham owned by Capt William Sergeant & David Ross Esqr & Co Merchants Virginia.—Send me the Bond & Instructions which I will take care shall be put in perfect order & duly transmitted.
