Sir,

I am directed by my Grandfather to inform you, that he has made Application to M. De Sartine, for the delivering to you the 16. Americans, brought among the English Prisoners from Senegal: as likewise to permit the Officer (whose Memoir he has enclosed) to serve under you, according to your Request & As soon as he receives an Answer, will inform you of the Intention of that Minister.
