From Samuel Vaughan, Jr. (unpublished)
Hotel d’Yorck 3 Feby 1783

Mr. S. Vaughan presents his Comps to Mr. Franklin, and should be extremely obliged to him to forward any letters that may be addressed to Miss Laurens to his care, at the Hotel d’Yorck, in order to take advantage of the earliest conveyances to England; Miss Laurens being in great anxiety about her relations in the South of France.

The Party to London went only to St. Briec, which is 2 Posts from Paris, last night; Miss L’s losing a wheel and being obliged to send for another Carriage to Paris, which Mr. S. Vaughan dispatched this morning at 8 oClock. No harm was received by the accident. Mr. S Vaughan begs Mr. Franklin to accept of his affectionate regards.
