Boston Sept 23. 1785

Blessed be God who has brought my Dear Brother Saif to his Desiered Porte, that has Ansured my Dayly Prayrs for his comfort and Ease, that you have had So good a Pasage, and but won Days Illnes from the malidy, that Atends you. I never can be thankfull Enough for these perticulars; nor for His continual mercies to me which are all a long beyond my conception as well as Deserts. I Long So much to See you that I Should Immediatly Seek for Some won that would Accompany me and take a Litle care of me but my Daughter is in a Poor State of Health and gone Into the country to try to git a litle beter and I am in a Straight betwen two, but the comfortable Reflection that you are at home among all your Dear Children and no more Seas to crose will be constantly Pleasing to me till I am Permited to Injoy the happines of Seeing and Conversing with you.

The Day I received yours of April in which you Sent me the Generous Present of a Bill on Mr. Vernon of Newport I was Setting out on a Visit to that State, and while there I received a Leter from Mrs. Bache Informing me The Expected you the Next month which caused me not to writ you About it till now, He Paid it all but Five Dolars which He absolutly Refused saying it was the Proper Exchange and I was Glad to git that for he made Some cavel about Paying it at all saying his Son Never wrot to Him and he had forbid him Drawing on Him three year ago, our friend Catheren Greene is the Same kind good Natuered Creature She Ever was (and so Indeed is the Governor and all the famely). She bids me Never Forgit to Remember her to you when I write:

You will forgive all omitions and Deffects as I fear the Post will be gone before I can git it there and can only Add God Bless you all to Gather forever Prays your Affectionat Sister
