I was taken By one of the English frigates and not Being Confind, I made my Escape, and got To London and not knowing where to go For redress I shippet my self mate of a Brig Bownd to Senegal that was going without Convoy in hopes that I might have the Good fortune of being taken but by a gale Of wind was drove on shore at Callies And since then has remaind a prisoner, But know I hope through your goodness I shall be releis, which Will for Ever be acknowledge by your Most Obedient Humble Servant
