Dear Sir

Mr. Hughes, a worthy gentleman of the Law, intending to go to Philadelphia, requested a Line of Introduction to Dr. Franklin, that he might have an opportunity of paying his respects to so distinguished a character.

As Mr. Hughes is a Relation of mine, I am happy in complying with his request, and am with the greatest Esteem, my dear Friend, Your most obedient, and very humble servant
