I Received your favour of the 9th instant & shoud have sent the few papers received by me from Philada. in course of post, had I not concluded that the Honble the Commissioner’s must have had much later intelligence.

With this be pleased to receive the few I got, and as Mr Williams received some from Boston since, I recommended to have them sent you also.

By this Vessel from Philada. there was a letter addressed to the Honbl B: Franklin Esqr:, to which I gave course on the 4th Inst: the moment it came to hand. hope he has received it—I have the honor to be with Respect Sir Your very obedt. humble Servant
