Dear Sir

It gave me a good deal of concern to find I had got Amongst my Papers (when I came home) some that belonged to you; whether I got them from your Son, with some letters he gave me to put into the post office; or whether I picked them up from your table with some of my own Papers, I cannot take upon myself to say; only I thought it the best way to send them out to you Immediately. It will give me much concern if it has been Attended with any Inconvenience I am most respectfully Sir Your Most Humble Servant
