From Anne Ogle (unpublished)
Boulogne Sur mer 21r [21t?] May 82
Sir

I wrote to you the 21r. [21t?.] of April but having no answer to that letter am persuaded it was not received by you. I must therefore beg leave to repeat what I then wrote. Nine years ago My grand son young Ridout, and My Nephew Mr. Lowndes, of Maryland, went to England for their education which being now finished are to return to America after perfecting themselves in the French language, my request is that You will get an order for their being permitted to stay with me at Boulogne where I have subsisted these last five years and in my present situation it would be extreemly inconvenient to remove to any other place. I am Sir Your Most Obedient Servant

A Ogle

p s. If I have not an answer soon I must leave this place.
