Inclosed are 5 Bills on the Commissions Vizt
amounting to twelve hundred & thirty Livres which please to
return & Post duely accepted.—
I hear nothing of the Confederacy; if some news of her does not
soon arrive I shall think she has suffered the same melancholy
Fate as poor Wickes did in the Reprisal. Adieu my dear Friend—tell
me all the news you can, from America, from the Texell—about
Congress order for Goods & my new Relations, affairs. voila bien
des demandes, mais vous êtes si bon! que Je me crois pas qu’il
soit neccessaire de vous faire des Excuses.—adieu I wish my Horse
was in your pocket.—
