Philadelphia, July 26th 1787
Sir,

Pay to The Child of Christian Reinick deceased —— late of the Pennsylvania Line, or Guardian the sum of Nine pounds four shillings and four pence being two year’s interest on his depreciation certificate, due the tenth day of April 178 7 agreeably to an act of The General Assembly, intitled, “An act to appropriate certain monies arising from the excise, for the payment of the annual interest due on unalienated certificates therein mentioned,” passed the twenty-first day of March 1783, and one other Act dated 25th of March 1786 and out of the fund appropriated by the said act, for the purposes therein mentioned.

Endorsed: Entd Jno. Nicholson Recd. Lancaster 5 August 1787 of Saml. Turbett Collector of Excise for Lancaster County the sum of Nine pounds 4/4 full of the within order.
