John Wallace to William Temple Franklin (unpublished)
Bedford Street 23d. Octr. 1784.
Sir

I have procured a newfoundland puppy of abt. Two months old—It is of the true Breed, but rather large. I am going into Kent, and if you think it will please the French Lady it is very much at your service, and I will order it to be sent wherever you please. I have the honor to be Sir Your most obliged & most obedt. Servant
