Mr Mayo presents his Compliments to Mr. W. T. Franklin & will esteem it a favr. he will be so obliging as to engage him a Chamber (at a house where he can board) for a Month or two Months. is extremely sorry to be under the Necessity of giving Mr. Franklin so much trouble, but hopes his Ignorance of the language is a sufft. Excuse—it was not in JM’s power to have the pleasure of dining at Passy on Sunday late as his Eye was so much enflamed with the Use of the Water that he could not even see Doctr. Grandjeau as he purposed—will be obliged to Mr F. to send the enclosed Letter to Mr Fox when he writes himself.
