From Samuel Beall (unpublished)
Williamsburg 16th Septr. 82
Sir.

At the desire of Mrs. Evans, I have taken the liberty of troubling you with the enclosed letters, and bills of Exchange for Seventy two Dollars, for her daughter Mrs. Loviel. Mrs. Evans is very desirous of getting her daughter back to Virginia, as you’ll see by her letters which she has directed may be sent open to you, and I have promised her that I will pay her daughters Passage on her arrival, which I will certainly do to the Captain of any Vessel that may receive Her. I have the honour to be sir your most obedient servant
