From Thomas Willing (unpublished)
May 4th. 1789.
Sir

I have this Moment the honor of your’s respecting a small Note due in Bank, and as Mr. Bache is out of Town and you desire to renew it, I have taken the liberty of sending a form of a Note for the same Sum which you may Return me signed when convenient. It being payable to the President and Directors renders an endorser unnecessary, which perhaps may be more agreeable to you in the absence of our friend. I am Sir with the greatest Respect Your Obedient

Thos. Willing
