I have already wrot you concerning the soap in a Leter to go with the Box, I now send the Recipt, the catalogue of Relations, and all concerning the money I recved of Mr. Vernon; it will be a Large Paquet but I thought it best to send it by the Post. Let me know whither you Aprovd or disaprovd of my writing to Mr. Vernon, I want (now you are so near) to have the Privilege of your correction, and Instruction, in Every thing that can come to your knowledge. I know I am troblesom to you in some things Pirticularly about that Poor young Lad in jail I fear my maner of writing was Rude to you and Inhuman of him, but I am glad to hear he is cleard and on his way home.

By the Recomdation of a couple of old women Like my self, Mrs. Killcup, and Mrs. Church, I was solicited to beg your asistance to a Poor woman whose Husband was killd in Hopkins Fleet, was a 2d Lieutenant his Name was Philip Gaudin has much due to her the Agents she says is at Philadelphia. I Evaded it as much as I could but I dont know but she will come again when she has got all her Vouchers Reddy, all that are in troble and know I am your sister seem to think I can do somthing for them so that you must give me some directions how to Proceed and say Hitherto shalt thou go and no farther or I shall always be in Pain on such Application and think you will be Afraid to Recive a Leter from me for fear of being Teasd.

I have two favours to Ask of you now your New Alphabet of the English Language, and the Petition of the Letter 3 it would be a Feast to General Greenes wife if I may be Premitted to Let her see it, shen he was at Rhoad Island he talkd very freely of Dr. Franklin and she tould him if he talkd so along the country as he went to Philadelphia the People would stone him fast. They all Adored you but I heard he was not discouridged. I forgot to tell you in my Last that Mr. Williams was Bravely again East and Drinks and was Chearfull and I hop continus so but I have not seen him this three weeks.

I rejoyce in Every Honourable mention that is made of you but I can not find in my Hart to be Pleasd at your Accepting the Goverment of the State and Therefore have not congratulated you on it, I fear it will Fatigue you two much.

Enough of all conscious you will say and therefore I shall only add your Affectionat sister
