Pittsburgh February 13th, 1786
Sir,

In Compliance with the Order of the Honble. Council of the 3d. of May last, I have opened an Office in the Counties of Washington Fayette and Westmoreland, for the Settlement of the Claims in those Counties, against the United States; the business of the latter is nearly Compleated, from this I shall proceed to Bedford and from thence, Unless I should receive farther Instructions shall go to Philadelphia. I have the honor to be with the greatest respect Your Excellency’s Most Obedient Humble Servant
