From Samuel Claphamson (unpublished)
Sir

My immediate nescessity for Money Oblige me humbly to Entreat thee discharge of a Bill Delivered some time since; in my last application I was informed that I should receive it in a few Days; but suppose the Matter have been forgot take this Liberty of Address, hoping without offence. The sum is Thirty six pounds Eighteen and a penny, which with your Approbation would be of great Service to me at this present.
