Col Shreve gave me the inclosd letter Yesterday and informs me Capt Vorheese can’t undertake to repair the Bank wch is much out of Order in some 7 Cases and Ought to be done before the Spring Tides or Winter frosts—If it is not Convenient to come up please to write to Mr Moses Wells and Col Shreve who will Imediately get what is Necessary done—I have your Deed for the Park &c wch have left with my son if you shu’d call in my Absence as I am Setting out to Survey some Lands on the Sea Coast and don’t Expect to return before ye 22: Inst:
