To Andrew Limozin (unpublished)
Philade. March 6, 1786
Dear Sir,

Soon after my last, which was dated the 29th of January, wherein I mention’d my not having heard from you since my leaving France, I had the very great Pleasure of receiving two of your Favours, dated July 29. and Novemr. 9. together with all my Effects in good Order. I am exceedingly oblig’d by the kind Care you have taken of them, and desire you to accept my hearty Thanks. Your refusing to charge any Commission in an Affair that must have occasion’d you a great deal of Trouble, is being too generous, and what I had no right to expect: Yet I must desire you would add to the Obligation, by giving me an Opportunity of shewing how sensible I am of your Kindness, by my Readiness in serving you or any Friend that may be recommended by you.

I am glad you discharged Hickes, as he prov’d an idle extravagant Fellow.

My Grandsons join in best Wishes for the Prosperity of you and yours, with Dear Sir, Your most obedient and most humble Servant,

B.Franklin
