Smith, Wright & Gray

Quaker banking firm in London whose partners were Thomas Smith, John Wright, and Henry Gray.

First established under the name of Smith Wright & Company with an office on Lombard Street (c. 1758).

Changed its name (1763). Franklin’s account with the firm, opened in the spring of 1764, remained active until the summer of 1774.
