Singer, Abraham (1765-1815)

Philadelphia leather merchant.

Served in several militia companies. Commander of the Second Troop of the Philadelphia City Cavalry (1793). Infantry lieutenant in the War of 1812. Federalist.

Son of Casper and Eva Maria (Spangler) Singer of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Married Ann Tresse (1794); three children.
