Manini, Lorenzo

Printer in Cremona, Italy.

Published an edition of Count Gian Rinaldo Carli’s three-volume work, Le lettere Americane (Cremona, 1781-83). Dedicated it to Franklin and sent him two copies (October 1783).

Franklin arranged to have French translations of the American state constitutions sent to him. Manini translated into Italian and printed Franklin’s Information to Those Who Would Remove to America and Remarks Concerning the Savages of North America, which Franklin had sent him in September 1784.
