Denormandie, John Abraham (d. 1757)

Pennsylvania assemblyman.

Elected to represent Bucks County in place of pacifist Quaker members who had withdrawn from the Assembly (1756).

Son of Andre Denormandie of Geneva. Immigrated to Pennsylvania with his father and brother (1706). Possibly the father of Dr. John Abram Denormandie, who visited Franklin in London (1772).
