Thomas, Jonathan (d. 1761)

Postmaster of Burlington, New Jersey.

Postmaster (c. 1748-50). Operated a stagecoach between Burlington and Perth Amboy, which, with stageboats at each end operated by associates, provided through transportation between Philadelphia and New York (1753-55). Owned a sawmill, a fulling mill, and several hundred acres of land.
