Cox, Isaac (d. c. 1776)

Merchant and sea captain.

Owner of the Speedwell. Manager of the Pennsylvania Hospital (1770-76). Left the Hospital £50 in his will.

Married; five children. Resided on Front Street, Philadelphia. Lost at sea on return voyage from New Providence in the Bahamas (winter 1775-76).
