Sent Franklin forty copies in German and fifty in Latin of one of his writings in which he proposed “la solution d’un probleme” (1785).

Franklin approved of the project, and agreed to forward the works to the United States. Met with Franklin during his brief stay in Paris (April 1785). Franklin entrusted him with a package for Ingenhousz.
