Heathcote, Harriott

Social acquaintance of the Franklins.

English. Daughter of the Mrs. Heathcote who played whist and cribbage three times a week with Emma Thompson in St. Omer (1777). She and her mother visited Deborah and Sally Franklin in Philadelphia, presumably during Franklin’s stay in England, as he was unacquainted with both mother and daughter.
