Maryland planter and legislator.

Served in Maryland Assembly (1771-81, intermittently) and Maryland Senate (1781-88, 1791-96). Delegate to Continental Congress (1783-84).

Son of Edward and Anne (Rousby) Lloyd of Talbot County, Maryland; brother of Richard Bennett Lloyd. Married Elizabeth Tayloe in 1767; six children.
