Flesselles, Jacques de (1721-1789)

French administrator.

Intendant of Brittany (1765), then of Lyon (1767-89). Promoted commerce and established a prize of 300 livres for silk-dying. Provost of the merchants of Paris (1789). Executed in the French Revolution.

Son of Jacques and Elisabeth (Robinet) de Flesselles of Paris. Married Marie-Genviève- Rose-Ursule Pajot (1759).
