Story, Enoch, Jr.

Philadelphia printer.

Served an apprenticeship with Hall & Sellers in Philadelphia. Worked as a printer in Baltimore (c. 1774-75) and Philadelphia (1775-94). Specialized in printing poetry and plays. Later returned to Baltimore, where he failed in business.

Probably a son of Enoch Story (b. c. 1738), an exchange broker who published a Tory newspaper, the Pennsylvania Mercury (1775).
