Paris, Ferdinand John (d. 1759)

Prominent English lawyer.

Agent in London for the Pennsylvania Assembly (1731-40). A political enemy to Franklin, he was a legal advisor for the Penn family and specialized in representing the interests of the Proprietors before the Board of Trade.
